3.1 Provide and Improve the Services

Personalize your experience, track progress, enable portfolio creation, deliver content, provide instructor and admin dashboards, and maintain Platform functionality.

3.3 Ensure Safety and Compliance

Monitor for inappropriate behavior, maintain secure login, and detect and prevent misuse or fraud.

3.4 Improve Our Platform

We analyze anonymized and aggregated data to improve content, outcomes, and Platform performance. We do not use Studio Builder data to create targeted advertisements, and we do not sell personal information.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We only share information in the following situations:

4.1 With Your Organization

If you access the Platform through an Organization, its instructors and approved administrators may see your progress, submissions, portfolio, and Platform usage. Organizations control access to their dashboards and User accounts.

4.4 With Your Consent

If we want to use your identifiable personal information or content for marketing (such as a testimonial), we will ask for permission first. We may use anonymized, de-identified content without additional consent.

5. Data Protection for Minors

Because our programs serve minors, we take privacy seriously. We:

  • Do not permit targeted advertising using student data
  • Require Organizations or parents to create or authorize accounts for minors
  • Collect only what is necessary
  • Allow Organizations to request data deletion
  • Comply with applicable laws governing minors online

Parents and guardians may contact us directly to request more information about their child's data. Age information collected through public lead magnets is optional and is not used to target minors with advertising.

6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tools, including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and the Meta Pixel, to:

  • Maintain login sessions
  • Remember preferences
  • Analyze Platform and website performance
  • Measure the effectiveness of our marketing

You may disable cookies in your browser, though some features may not function correctly. Where required by law, we present a cookie consent choice and honor your selection.

7. Data Storage & Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to secure your data, including encrypted connections, secure hosting providers, access controls, regular audits, and limiting internal access to necessary personnel. However, no system is completely secure, and you accept this risk by using the Platform.

8. How Long We Keep Information

We retain information as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, support outcomes, and maintain accounts. Organizations may request deletion of User data after their contract ends.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, or to request that your data not be shared or sold. Parents, guardians, and Organizations may submit these requests on behalf of minors. To make a request, contact support@learntostart.com.
